My hourly rate is $45 for 45 minutes, and $30 for 30 minutes.  If parents want to prepay monthly for a weekly Hour long session, the fee is $220 regardless if there are four or five sessions that month. The CLEP ready Algebra 2 live group class, which begins January 14, is $245 for the entire course. Students enrolled in that class that want private one on one tutoring will have a rate of $35 per hour.

I just retired after having been a classroom teacher and administrator. I have experience and credentials in identifying and closing learning gaps. I understand learning styles and how to build rapport with the student. There are tutors who may charge less per hour but do not have the knowledge or the tools in their teaching box to assess the students' learning needs and mindset. I have experience in preparing students for difficult concepts that are coming in the future.
